My Story
All I wanted was to be “normal.”
Growing up, I was surrounded by many schools of thought. In the 70s, my mother became a reverend of metaphysics. My grandmother, aunts, and uncles were Christian, and my great-grandmother, who I lived with, was Buddhist. My favorite stepfather (I had three) was an Atheist all the way.
I first began working with energy and energy healing at the age of seven.
All I wanted was to be “normal.” In time, I closed myself off to be normal which for me was to find my own way. I had no idea what that was, but I imagined it must be about love rather than being right, or fear-based.
Finding my place
After high school, my life was a mess. I struggled to find my place and make my way as a young adult. One day while walking down the alley where I lived I had a profound experience of suddenly being surrounded by and immersed in complete unconditional love. I didn’t know what was happening or why it was happening. I wasn’t “special” or worthy. I was confused and scared…
My consciousness was elevated, and my heart was wide open. This lasted for a few days. It was an intimate experience. When it subsided, it left a huge gap between the unconditional love I felt and the life I was leading. My takeaway after that experience was that it, a spiritual universe, was real - and maybe it was an intervention, a course correct.
I buried that experience. Decades later, I had another awakening experience that again lasted for 2-3 days, but this time I was a mother of two small beautiful children. I was torn between my personal struggle and my love for my kids. I thought, “What if this happened to them?” I knew that it would require me to face my fears, to be willing to move far beyond my comfort zone with honesty and sincerity to claim my own process. To truly support them, I’d have to know what I believed and experience my own personal evolution. Not so I could teach them, but to meet them authentically, to have walked my own path. Their experience could be vastly different. This time I mustered up the courage to move beyond my deep resistance, resentment, and fear.
How I use my experiences in my work
Despite my best efforts, I have had an extremely spiritual path. Throughout my life, as an observer and student, I’ve been a skeptic and I have learned through personal experience. As I soaked in the wisdom of the past I was challenging it to make sense of the life I was living, that we were living. I needed a modernized perspective that included our humanness with greater reverence and a desire to understand… there was more, I just didn’t know what.
Cut to an unquenchable thirst for information. I studied energy healing, space clearing, feng shui, crystal healing, tarot, numerology, Human Design, and Gene Keys. I became a certified hand analyst, an energy healing practitioner as well as a master practitioner in the Seven Cups of Consciousness. I began connecting the dots to all the unanswered questions I had during my childhood.
I bring my experiences to my work today to share awakening with people who seek it.

I have two sweet dogs, Emma and Speedy.
I was voted Biggest Daydreamer in junior high school.
I’m a Taurus with Leo Moon, Libra Rising, a 4/6 Projector in the School of Service and my 9-star ki is 1.6.9.
Earth, Wind & Fire was my first concert.
I worked in film production and started on the lot at Paramount Pictures.
My grandmother and I both graduated from the same high school, Venice High in California.
